Today we’re on our way to the Minnesota Zephyr “Polar Express” ride.

Three things for which I’m thankful:

1. My new coffee grinder (though I’m sure it will die like the others within six months)
2. Warm socks
3. Whoopie pies (made a double batch yesterday, all of which are, alas, leaving the house for various holiday events)
