Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 1

I’ve decided to start noting here some of the pictures I’ve seen over the last week that have stuck in my head. To make it seem like a Regular Feature, let’s say that it will be (at least) three pictures, listed every Sunday(ish).

So this week, I’ve noticed these:

• Rooms for Rent, on Hello. This color Holga shot has fabulous contrast between the red dollhouse roof and fresh white snow, and I like the dilapitated look of the house; it’s cozy and creepy at the same time.
• tehachapi turbines pt 1, on outafocus. Blur, ominous windmills, blur, and more blur.
• Quinzy, by Voxphoto on Flickr. Incredibly sad, incredibly touching. And made with a backwards-lens Hawkeye, in black and white; I’m going to give black and white a try again in the Brownie after seeing Voxphoto’s recent work.
