Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 12

A somewhat Francophilic list this week; of five pictures, two are Parisian, one is from Montréal, and one is Belgian (though that one is Flemish, not Walloon). Sacré bleu! At least the American entry is solidly American; I mean, what’s more American than the American Legion hall?

• Wedding reception, Fish Lake American Legion, from fourteen places to eat: I love the framing here, with the cold lake in the background and the warmth of the people at the tables.
• Dancefloor from Iphimeda; I love the silhouette and the odd delicacy of this picture.
• Lever la tête from Blog-je; just really neat.
• Montréal - Au nord du port de Montréal (pas le vieux port) from Julien Roumagnac; just look at those clouds.
• A vélo place Colette from Pariscool; and if you’re not humming “La vie en rose” while you look at this picture–why the heck not? “Ça c’est le paris de la légende, celui des amoureux, éclats de rire aux vents, traversant places et sites vénérables…”
