OK. Enough of the color stuff. Hardcore black-and-white time again.

This is the shop window of Wasteland; I think it’s a “shop”–I don’t know when they’re open, I’ve never been inside it, but the window displays are fascinating. It’s at 42nd Street and Grand Avenue; if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by Chapterhouse Coffee/Caffe Tempo or whatever it’s called and take a gander at their odd neighbor.

Anyway. While I was editing this shot, I was reminded of Edmund Levickis–not that my soul is anywhere near dark enough to produce the kind of wonderfully creepy, blurry, grim pictures he makes, but I find his work strangely compelling.
