Here’s Mr. Ruckle with his Lubitel 1 at the Lake Street Garage pub quiz a couple Sundays back. To be honest, I don’t know why he’s squinting into the top of the Lubi; in my experience, your best best with the Lubi is to set the aperture to f16, set the shutter speed appropriately, guesstimate the distance, and pray for the best. But Art’s a better photographer than I am, and his Lubitel is in better shape than mine, so perhaps there’s something to this squinting.
