• If I could just reach and the sign from hmmm…; two very dramatic images of the village of Pripyat, abanadoned twenty years ago in the wake of the Chernobyl disaster. Like Mr. Cuthbert, I’m troubled by the graffiti that has infested the ruins of the Chernobyl villages, though the silhouettes do at least seem like appropriate ghosts.
• untitled from Takaaki Okada; I don’t know why this makes me think of Two, the Twilight Zone episode with Elizabeth Montgomery and Charles Bronson as the sole survivors of a world war, but there’s something post-apocalyptic about it.
• aquí sí, aquí no from fijaciones; wonderful DOF control and sunny colors.
• untitled from Jinky Art; wonderful silhouetting with a colorful umbrella.
• when…? from outafocus; so dreamy.
