Basilica in the Background

Yes, it’s that iconic landmark of Minneapolis–St. Mary’s Basilica. With a big metal cherry in front of it.

I’m running on auto-pilot today–we’re in Chicago for the weekend, checking out the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium (my four-year-olds are nerds, and I see no reason not to encourage it). So if you’ve made a comment, rest assured that I’ll respond when I return–I’m not being rude!

Great place; I’ve been there - and even greater color/foto with your Spotmatic. How do you get your fotos from camera to the web? I’ve recently begun to scan negatives (as opposed to prints)

Thanks very much, Abe! I usually scan (Epson 4490) from prints for 35mm color, and from negs for 35mm b&w, 120 b&w, and 120 color. I scan from the 35mm prints because I’m lazy–it’s easier than fiddling with the neg carrier.
