Yellow Dragon
We’re back from Chicago, and I’ve got some film to develop. We were stuck behind an accident on westbound I-90 for two hours–a semi apparently hit a bridge abutment, sending its boxed contents across two lanes of highway–and didn’t get home until almost midnight, so I’m running on strong coffee today.
Here’s a shot from the Heart of the Beast puppet theater’s May Day parade–it was a beautiful day (alternately warm and chilly, a real Minnesota spring) and a fun outing for the Sawyer Nomad’s first spin with color film.

I’d like to know more about that accident. We were stuck behind it coming back to Mpls from the Twins games in Milaukee. I heard one of the trucker’s wives perished. Have you heard anything else?

I found this article on the crash from the Madison paper: Interstate Crash Kills Passenger. By the time we reached the site, about 6:30 PM, there were just frozen dinners left; it wasn’t as dramatic as the crash we saw outside Black River Falls on our way to Chicago, a semi rollover that detoured westbound traffic.
Searching for the crash on Google News was quite sobering; there are a LOT of highway crashes. More reason to stay quietly at home…
