Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 25: Black and White
Since B&W PhotoChallenge has been out of commission due to technical difficulties, I thought I’d do an all-black-and-white set this week:
- Statue from Mistralcolors; wonderfully captured expressions in stone.
- The Virgin Mother #2 from LONDONRUBBISH; a little disturbing, but very dramatically presented.
- Rytmi from luotokuva; I love the ghosts and shadows on the floor.
- (Y)OURS from Broken Heartbeats; strangely compelling.
- Lakeside from Dimitri Chrysanthopoulos; pensive and still.
- untitled from shadowphoto; I love the contrast of the smooth petals with the rough stone.
- untitled from Apparently Nothing; there’s some drama under this shot, with the girl on the bike pushing against the flow of traffic; it looks almost like a movie still.
- Eclores, Bruxelles from Sakana Blog; ethereal.
- Beach Chair from Luminescent; there must be a story here, too.
- Too Young from Delineated; though I’m glad to have little boys–I understand them and their dinosaur obsessions–there’s something so sweet about little girls playing dress-up.
- Response to The Decisive Moment from koknia at Weekly Shot; wow.
- Flying Leap 2 from panhandlin’; what balance!
- gerbera from Pulpo; wonderful composition, I love the twisting stems.
- High above Los Angeles, CA from outafocus; a flying park bench?
