at the giraffe pen take #2

at the giraffe pen #2 - click to enlarge

Yesterday’s post was a pretty straight take on this frame; today, another version of the same frame, with a little more manipulation.

Which do you prefer? And why?

(The blurriness evident in both pictures, by the way, isn’t a result of post-processing manipulation; this shot was taken with my reversed-lens Brownie, which distorts thinks rather interestingly.)

    Hello … Michael?

I stumbled across your website with surprise, and a wonderful surprise at that. Your work(s) intrigue me, even inspire me. I’ve always enjoyed playing around with photography and poetry, though not regularly, regrettably. I also dabble in drawing now and then. It must run in “our?” families.

I really enjoyed reading your stories and viewing life through your eyes. You seem … interesting. Who knows, maybe some day …
