Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 29
Eleven beauties for this week:
- Butterfly on Thistle from Photo Play; the grain and blur give this a magically dreamlike quality.
- Clash from Londonrubbish; evocative and provocative; there are so many ways to read this one.
- Signaali from Luotokuva; blurry and magical, just like a northern Minnesota lake at dawn.
- serem amics… from imatges; the little birds seem unimpressed by the gryffon’s mighty roar.
- Summer Hike Flowers 2 from Mike Bradshaw; wonderfully unnatural colors, and the little bug adds just the right touch of personality.
- Untitled from apparently nothing; just the right blur and saturation–as perfect as a Holga picture can be.
- Feeding Them (Part II) from Sights by Elizabeth; a wonderfully captured moment–and for a first roll of film, a fantastic photograph!
- Straphangers from urban views; the hand has a spidery feel to it.
- Reflecting from Delineated; what is more peaceful than a dock on a lake at night?
- taller from the narrative; simply wonderful.
- Changes from 84.NET; texture and vignette; simple but lovely.
