From having a dearth of material, I’m suddenly inundated–several rolls have come back, several more are out or waiting to be processed, and I’m at a loss as to where to go next: flowers? Chicago? Back to May Day?

I’ll continue the Minnesota lake theme for a bit, I think–these were taken on July 1st at William O’Brien State Park, just outside Marine-on-St. Croix (near Stillwater, for those keeping score). Even though it’s just 30 minutes outside the metro area, I’m still going to put these in the “Up North” category because they have that deep woods Minnesota summer feel to them.

I have never been to that park, it looks beautiful. This shot is wonderful, one of my favorites.

Thanks very much! William O’Brien is a nice park, and convenient–not as pretty as Moose Lake, maybe, but close to home. I’m glad you like this one–and I hope you come back again over the next few days, I’ve got some more from this roll queued up.
