Griffith Park Observatory from the streets are alive; even if this building didn’t figure so prominently in one of my favorite movies, Rebel Without a Cause, I’d still be smitten by the texture and tone of this photograph.
154 from echo; these black and white photos feel especially rich to me, and I love the shadows in the ponies’ faces.
BW Rhapsody from Million-Year Picnic; the tones and textures are rich, and I get the feeling there’s a story in this picture someplace.
pink from gotreadgo; who doesn’t love pink flamingos?
The Wave from A Walk Through Durham Township; I love the natural gradient from water to sand, and the way the sky fades away in the upper right corner.
thank you so much for the link! I looked at all these links yesterday but missed it somehow. I am so glad you like the photo, if only he would go to sleep right now lol!
And thank you for sharing the photo! There’s nothing that says “success” like a sleeping child; if Jack and Peter are zonked out by 9PM (after much wrangling and haggling and extra bedtime stories), I feel like the day has concluded with a minor victory.
