catch and release

Jack and Peter watch Great-Granddad releasing a squirrel–what is it about men of a certain age and squirrel traps?
I’m on auto-pilot from August 12 to August 21, displaying some of last year’s vacation pictures, while we head back to Maine to hang out with Granddad in the woods. If I don’t get back to you, it’s probably because the squirrels are holding my family hostage.

Ha! they look mesmerized! love the little green boots! this brings back memories - and a potential solution to my backyard yeti/groundhog that’s destroying my gardens!! I’m sure my dad has some large C&R traps in his barn.

Thanks very much! The little green boots have been updated to larger bright yellow boots, courtesy of Great-Grammie. And Great-Grampie reports that he has transported 200+ squirrels from Lewiston to Auburn (we didn’t have the heart to tell him that there’s probably a counterpart gent in Auburn doing the same).
Good luck with the yeti/groundhog infestation–I hope it doesn’t turn out like the “Maine Mutant”/loup garou we heard so much about on our vacation.
