Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 43
14 ways of looking at the world:
- Two Leaves from Mad Media Studios; the curled ribbon makes me think of a cello’s neck; a perfect evocation of autumn.
- sioux-sprite from pinkie style; the Sprite half of the sign still looks as crisp as if it were hung yesterday.
- kid from BOXMAN fotologue; the blur of his feet.
- untitled from LONDONRUBBISH; incredibly expressive fingers; a fabulous portrait. (This reminds me a little of the cover of Miles Davis’ “Tutu”.)
- hatchin a plot from serial photographer; texture!
- 285 from Edmund Leveckis; Salome in an abandoned factory?
- untitled from [MeTokyo]; stripes!
- Walnuts from gallery(bea); an Old Master still life; that it came through a Brownie Hawkeye makes it that much more incredible.
- Patrick Appreciates Art from We Must Abuse the Broadband; close observation of close observation.
- autumn leaf from Electrolite; Though worlds of wanwood leafmeal lie.
- Happy Thanksgiving from Delineated.com; the orange pops against the dark background.
- At the Mercy of Strangers from Jon Swainson; sad and powerful.
- palm branches & cedras from rion.nu; another great photo-essay from this site, this one of Sukkot in the Marais, my favorite neighborhood in Paris.
- Costume Party!! from Square America; just in time for Halloween — check out the whole gallery!
