Some Pictures I’ve Liked volume 48
15 treasures this week:
- untitled from UrbanGhost; magical.
- east canyon flower from Mike Bradshaw; delicate.
- Dog Walking III - Cinema from 3 a.m. from Kyoto; wonderfully muted colors.
- untitled from Michael Marquand; just the right blur.
- Matkalla paappaa katsomaan from luotokuva; still.
- Mermaid on a Treasure Chest from Out of Contxt; reminds me of the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen.
- #113 from snaps; great tone.
- A Quest for Breakfast from 6oh lens; I can almost smell the crusty loaves.
- A Trip to the Farmers’ Market from Nordljus; a wonderful photo essay — I especially like the stacks of orange tomatoes and the asparagus lined up like cordwood.
- DF from cpl; the expression on the pitcher’s face is priceless.
- Dryness thing (at least that’s what the free translation from Japanese gave me…) from Million-Year Picnic; these — things? are they skates or rays? — seem to be floating above the street in a skyward march.
- A Life in Pictures from Square America; a decade of photobooth shots, arranged to show the subtle changes the subjects made over time. I especially like the block with her beau, from soldier to young man to suited gent, with that goofy smile evident the whole time.
- carDOF [dos] from fijaciones; lovely texture.
- circuitous from outafocus; lots of curves.
- untitled from UrbanGhost; closing with another UrbanGhost umbrella.
