The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

    I love the tones in this image. I find bulrushes to be strangely elegant; there’s not much to them by way of fauna or colour, but they rise up so majestically, as if they need to be noticed.
