Before he swung his cable, shore to shore,

To grasp upon the further cliff and draw

Not that Hiawatha Avenue is quite “Niagara’s gorge”, of course, but this is still pretty darned impressive for a bicycle bridge. Would that the design of the new 35W bridge were as inspiring…
