Something obviously went terribly wrong with this negative for the number from the backing paper to come through. It may be because I didn’t get around to developing this roll until almost a year after I shot it, and it wasn’t kept in the most optimal of conditions.
It’s fitting, though: this was taken very close to the boys’ 10th birthday, while visiting Land’s End in Maine, so to have the “10″ from the paper come through seems a happy omen.
They turn 11 today–oh how time flies!
